Dead Presidents (1995): Uneven but there are some good segments.
Thorne (TV Series) (2010): Good cast but not helped by too much yelling and screaming between the characters and flashy flashbacks.
Mark of Zorro, The (1940): Basil Rathbone the highlight.
Flirting with Disaster (1996): Good ensemble acting with Stiller not too bad in this one. Some good oddball situations.; DVD ~~$20~~ $15
Magnum Force (1973): Straight forward actioner with no frills.
Romeo and Juliet (2013): Props and costumes are very good. The plot feels familiar and I suspect its been filmed before.
Outlaw Josey Wales, The (1976): A superior western that makes an effort to make all the characters interesting. Just lets itself down by being a bit too long.
Lucy (2014): A very good plot idea but it really falls short in its delivery – there is some black humour comedy in there which I assume was intentional.
Django Unchained (2012): Some genuine funny moments. Waltz and Jackson take the acting honours.The set designs are impressive as is the stunt work (see "Making Of").The action gets more & more over the top – the film struggles to find an ending.
Van Helsing (2004): Must be one of the noisiest films ever made – not just in decibels but it seems there is no let up – continuous action. Some of the visual effects are well done as are the creature makeup.
