Escape from Planet Earth (2013): Pretty good entertainment.
Two Faces of January, The (2014): Nothing memorable happens.; Blu-Ray $44.95
I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry (2007): Tries to insult everything and ends up being embarrassing.
Adult World (2013): Splendid and believable characters all round – a delightful Indie.; DVD $29.95
Spy Next Door, The (2010): Good family stuff – the violence is not too violent but seems to be necessary these days.
Highlander, The (1986): Some good location shooting. The plot is fine but a bit messy in its telling.; DVD ~~$20~~ $15
Bad Words (2013): Not really a black comedy – a film type which is hard to do – uneven.
Chronicles of Narnia: Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010): The visuals are impressive – the ending is a bit prolonged – the music score is sappy.
Johnny Dangerously (1984): Not perfect but far from boring.
Castaway Cowboy, The (1974): Its not one of those cloying family dramas that can come out of Disney.
