Craft: Legacy, The (2020)
It is not too bad if you haven't watched too many of these already.
Stand and Deliver (1988)
The early scenes are very good but then the screenplay is reduced to predictability.
Big Empty, The (2003)
The off–beat screenplay and the casting come together seamlessly.
Close Encounters of the Third Kind - Special Edition (1977)
The plot idea is very strong and doesn't follow the usual pathways either here on earth or to the skies. The special effects of over 40 years ago can still be admired. Dreyfuss and Garr work well off each other.
Buck and the Preacher (1972)
Not great but a watchable screenplay but the casting means it has definite curiosity value.
Rescue Dawn (2006)
The screenplay was very believable but let down by the commercial homecoming scenes at the end. Bale and Zahn were terrific.
Haggard (2003)
Not my cup of tea but it will find an audience with young "adults" in particular.
Cirque du Soleil - Dralion (2000)
 Another winner.
So Close (Chik yeung tin sai) (2002)
It has the usual photogenic casting for this kind of thing plus one of the contradictions of cinema – an action director in love with the slow motion camera.
J. Edgar (2011)
I thought Leonardo was more J.Edgar as his character aged but overall did a reasonable job. Not a scintillating watch but people like Hoover could never be boring.
