Twin Peaks (TV Series) (Twin Peaks: A Limited Event Series, Twin Peaks: The Return, Twin Peaks: Series 3) (2017): I'm livid at Netflix since Lynch could have made so many more good creations during his twilight years. So, I'm glad he left us with this – one of the best things that has and will ever air on TV? One of the best films ever? Yes & yes.
Julien Donkey-Boy (1999): I like all of Korine's films. Out of his feature directorial efforts, this resembles his style in my opinion. It's probably the best thing he ever did.
Southland Tales (2006): High & low brow? Like if, in the 2000s, a dumb 12 year old boy who thought he was cool joined forces with his sci–fi enthusiastic schizophrenic uncle and they made a movie. It's better than Donnie Darko.; DVD $24.95 | Blu-Ray $29.95
Brown Bunny, The (2003): America's Kiarostami, in place of long dialogue is 20th–century folk music. The sum of the aesthetic choices – cinematography, film stock, music, etc – make something brilliant in my eyes. Forget Buffalo, THIS is the movie Gallo should be remembered for.
