Funny Bones (1995): Brilliant work with stellar cast, not all household names. Loved every minute of it. Seen it three times already
Roberta (1935): one of my favourite Astaire movies. Great cast.
Over the Hill (1991): One of the best movies I've seen. Great acting, fabulous scenery and a good script. Highly addictive
Samba (2014): Wonderfully crafted movie, funny, touching and absorbing. Highly recommended.
Hill Street Blues (TV Series) (1981): Best cop tv series ever.
Sunshine on Leith (2013): A lovely light story of ordinary folk in Edinburgh, with the various happenings in their linked lives, music by the Proclaimers. Funny and touching.
Fly Me to the Moon (Un plan parfait) (2012): Excellent ridiculous French farce, good entertainment, totally beyond belief and laugh–out–loud silly in places. Well worth the couple of hours. Subtitled.; DVD $29.95
Intouchables, The (2011): I love this movie – it\'s wickedly funny, uplifting and heart warming, plus two very sexy men in the leading roles.; DVD ~~$19.95~~ $14.95
Le Bonheur Est Dans Le Pre (Happiness Is in the Field) (1997): I love this movie; it throws away all preconceived notions of behaviour and goes for happiness and a quirky life. Works for me big time – highly recommended.
Bear Named Winnie, A (2004): Lovely film, kept waiting for something bad to happen (as it would in a Disney movie) but it didn't really unless you count a war..... Real tear–jerker, but a good story and excellent photography, good acting and a couple of cute bears.
