Factory Girl
Aroview: Sienna Miller plays the ill-fated Warhol 'superstar' Edie Sedgwick in this flashy, precocious portrait of her rise and fall out of the New York 'Factory' scene.
Almost proudly superficial, this generates some drama around her being at the centre of a tug-of-war between Andy Warhol and Bob Dylan, though when played by the well-known faces of Guy Pearce and Hayden Christensen respectively, it struggles to take a completely credible foothold. Though better in later scenes, it-girl Miller never quite fits into Ms. Sedgwick's skin, though she is perhaps aptly cast playing someone who was ultimately not much more than a pretty face.
