Cocaine Cowboys
Aroview: True story of Miami's heady drug trade in the late 70s / early 80s, chronicling at an Amphetamine pace the highs and lows of smugglers and distributors of cocaine, and their decadent lifestyle which gave rise to likes of MIAMI VICE and SCARFACE.
Constructed around two astonishing testimonies in particular; firstly that of playboy/drug-dealer John Roberts, whose unashamed exploits gave rise to the multi-billion-dollar transformation of the city of Miami, then from former prolific hitman Rivi Ayala, who was at the bloody centre of the gang-war pandemic that branded Miami as the murder capital of the US.
