Aroview: Latest M. Night Shyamalan thriller, set in the disaster capital of New York City, where a family tries to escape a disturbing blight of city residents topping themselves.

After an auspicious and creepy sequence of zombiefied suicides, this becomes increasingly patchy, with sloppy acting and Shyamalan’s cloth-ear for convincing dialogue in embarrassing evidence. Not nearly the return to form many have wished for, this will still get under the skin of some, but remains largely notable for giving a whole new meaning to the term ‘eco-terrorism’.
