Butterfly on a Wheel

Aroview: Tantalising thriller centred on a couple whose idyllic existence is shattered when their daughter is kidnapped by a man (Brosnan) with increasingly disturbing demands.

Perhaps a little too confined by the usual genre workings, this still manages to hold attention, throwing in a nice unexpected twist, while Pierce Brosnan, playing against type, makes for a rather convincing, ambiguous psychopath.
