4 stars (Very Good) The lives of two mob hit men, a boxer, a gangster's wife, and a pair of diner bandits, seemingly unrelated people, are woven together in series of funny and bizarre incidents. Fairly groundbreaking stuff to come out of Hollywood in its time. ~GenXGirl

2 stars (Good Try) I can only say it's not for everyone. Gave it about 20 minutes; couldn't relate to the characters or story or style. Wikipedia calls it a black comedy but we didn't get any hint of that. ~Tymar3
