Aroview: Nothing will quite prepare you for the devastating impact of this beyond-belief crime story that escalates after the murder of a 28-year-old doctor at the cold-blooded hand of his ex-girlfriend.
Film-maker Kurt Kuenne didn't quite know what he was in for when first documenting the story of his best friend's death, and he maintains admirable composure as he and his story are pulled through a series of inconceivable revelations. The tragic events are only the half of it, though, as Kuenne's personal telling is as much a tribute to the extraordinary compassion and stoicism of those heart-broken and failed by the justice system - the victim's parents. The forces of human good and evil in stark relief here will provide a talking point for hours, as well as an experience never quite forgotten.

4 stars (Very Good) Devastating documentary that punches you in the face over and over again. The filmmaking is amateurish but the personal nature of it more than makes up for this. ~Pearce
4 stars (Very Good) Amazing film. Pearce says it perfectly. ~Catapillar
