Life After Beth
Synopsis: Grieving over the death of his girlfriend, a young man gets a second chance when she returns from the dead in this zany and inventive zom-rom-com.
“Blending smart fantasy elements, broad comedy, tender romance and an atypically slow-burning apocalypse, the directorial debut of “I Heart Huckabees” co-writer Jeff Baena is charming, thoughtful and laugh-out-loud funny.”~Variety

2 stars (Good Try) Not a bad plot idea and despite a lively performance from Aubrey Plaza as a walking dead it doesn't work as well as it could have - the comedy is a bit forced. ~Tubbs
3 stars (Good Enough) and on the sixth day god gave us an Aubrey Plaza zom-com with slapstick cranked up to 11, and with that he took his rest for now the job was done. probably wouldn’t have worked if the actors weren’t as good as they are, but still funny and silly ~Natalie Nunn
