A Cure for Wellness
“Verbinski packs so much stuff into his giddy Grand Guignol, and the more he crams in the better it works.”~Indiewire
Aroview: An ambitious Manhattan stockbroker is blackmailed to retrieve a company boardmember from a wellness spa in the Swiss Alps
in this visually stunning and visionary psychological horror from Gore Verbinski.
Licenced with a budget that enables him to indulge his cinematic fetishes to the hilt, the result is an uber-stylish metaphor for the spiritual emptiness of modern life that tips its hat to Kafka and Lovecraft, and keeps good company with the best work of Tim Burton, Christopher Nolan and David Cronenberg.

1 star (Turkey) Absolute rubbish! No redeeming features. best watched after a meal of steamed eels & followed by a sauna & a visit to the dentist! Indulgent fantasy that has nothing to do with Kafka's terrific ideas & humour. Avoid! ~Sandy
3 stars (Good Enough) A bit elongated but there some decent set designs and suspenseful segments. ~Tubbs
