Stratham plays an LA cash truck security guard whose mysterious past gets questioned after he expertly thwarts a robbery. With less than usual of the director's caustic humour, this is dark and brutal stuff, with visceral action sequences in a lean package.

2 stars (Good Try) Ritchie's films are at their best when the characters do the talking, not the guns. Compare the quality of the character actors employed in "Lock Stock" & in "Snatch" with the casting in this & you can see why the emphasis has shifted toward the gun. ~Tubbs
