Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The
Aroview: Unbearable tension builds when a group of teens are preyed upon by a notoriously psychotic family in the squalid atmosphere of the Deep South. The unpleasant mayhem is somehow brilliantly compelling, making it arguably the most gruelling movie ever made.

5 stars (Exceptional) This is Tobe Hooper's masterpiece: an intense, suspenseful, graphic (without actually showing too-much gore!), and incredibly horrifying tale of the most psychotic family to ever grace the big screen. ~Tom H
5 stars (Exceptional) There are few films which more aptly define the term "horror movie": gritty atmosphere permeates both the comic-humour and escalating hysteria throughout. A lo-fi marvel, a cinematic icon, and still a nerve-shredding rollercoaster ride. ~fairbrother
5 stars (Exceptional) this is one of my favorite horror films, Tobe Hooper's Masterpiece ~Wyatt Earp
