What Lies Beneath
Aroview: Affluent couple Michelle Pfeiffer and Harrison Ford have their watertight marriage spring a leak when the neighbours start acting suspiciously and paranormal things go bump in the night.
An elegant mix of the supernatural and paranoid psycho-thriller, laced with Hitchcockian references, sharp jolts, reversals and red herrings, A-list director Robert Zemeckis adeptly replays the stock staples of scare cinema and tailors the action to suit the scope of the stars.

3 stars (Good Enough) The wife of a professor investigates the murder of a beautiful college student who has been appearing to her. Nice twists and turns, with lots of suspense. ~GenXGirl
3 stars (Good Enough) Zemeckis turns his hand to horror, with some jump-worthy scare scenes and slick suspense film - despite not being particularly original in the modern suspense world. ~Tom H
3 stars (Good Enough) I was having doubts of the abilities of the two leads during the film but both handled the double climax surprisingly well. ~Tubbs
