5 stars (Exceptional) Brilliant genre shift as well as an excellent performace from Perkins. ~dr.strangelove
5 stars (Exceptional) Perkins is brilliant, and the Norman Bates character is still intensely creepy. Hitchcock proves himself a master of more than one genre and cements certain horror elements for all time (think groundbreaking shower scene). ~Tom H
5 stars (Exceptional) Absorbing and creepy even now after thousands of inferior copy-cats have dulled the genre. ~Wizzums
