Unbreakable
Aroview: The sceptre of THE SIXTH SENSE hangs over this follow-up from writer/director Shyamalan, whose status as a Hollywood golden boy has arguably given him too much creative rope.
A mournful Bruce Willis returns as the sole survivor of a massive train wreck, whose sheer luck and supreme state of health beckons the interest of his diametric opposite - a no-nonsense comic-book connoisseur (Samuel L. Jackson) with brittle-bone syndrome. The revelation, when it comes, is a good one, but the unravelling is slow and portentous and missing the assured, painterly touch of the previous film.

5 stars (Exceptional) Gives The Dark Knight a run for its money for the title of best superhero film. ~H.T.B.
2 stars (Good Try) Willis is hardly the enthralling performer and I was unable to give the screenplay the attention it probably deserved. ~Tubbs
