Spy Game
Aroview: King-of-flash, dir. Scott (TOP GUN) contrives a drama around super-spy Robert Redford’s last day on the job, having to rescue protégé Brad Pitt from a Chinese prison cell.
Frenzied in its pace, the interruptions of multiple flashbacks from their parallel careers from the mid-60s onwards prevent boredom from occurring, but also much depth.

3 stars (Good Enough) Tony Scott gives this spy thriller a frenetic feel, with roving timelines, flashbacks, twists, and plenty to think about as the action unfolds. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) Not as good as others in the genre but it is solid enough and worth a look. ~Tubbs
