Human Nature
Aroview: An odd yet amusing burlesque from the makers of BEING JOHN MALKOVICH, presenting a wildly contrived scenario as an excuse to examine the comedy of homo sapiens and their primitive sexual drives.
Tim Robbins and Patricia Arquette play an oddball couple – he a 35-yr old virgin scientist; she a hirsute, indeed quite furry, nymphette – who stumble across a ‘wild man’, born and bred away from civilised society, spiriting him away in excitement for laboratory testing. Writer Charlie Kaufman lavishes his eccentric wit on all three of these human specimens, with a series of stubbornly freakish sex gags working their way into the 'story'.
