Chiwetel Ejiofor is a unique and commanding presence in the central role of a Nigerian refugee doctor relegated to driving a London minicab while Audrey Tatou equally impresses as his Turkish confidante, in a role at the opposite end of her popular image as AMELIE. Presenting a sympathetic view of the immigrant experience, this tests the ethical fibre of its characters to nail-biting and believable effect.

5 stars (Exceptional) Fascinating. Deeply likeable characters & complex plots. The underbelly of London society & the difficulties, fear & threats faced in what is usually presented as a tolerant, liberal society. Audrey Tatou is terrific because of her reserve & intensity. ~Anon
