Lost Skeleton of Cadavra, The
Aroview: A dead-on Z-grade movie parody that replicates the wooden acting, dumb dialogue, sloppy editing and cheap props of 50's "creature features". Adding an ironic dimension to a genre it knows inside out, this proves to be more than an exercise in mimicry, with highlights that are often funnier than the real thing.
Featuring scientists good and evil, a crash-landed alien couple, a strange 'animal woman', a talking skeleton and the obligatory man-in-a-rubber-suit, this converges its raft of bent sci-fi cliches into a single plot about coveting a mysterious mineral known as "atmospherium".
