Elephant White (2011): Poor Thailand – depicted as a den of iniquity as usual.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018): The lead was a prat but the supporting cast included the great Toby Jones and Rafe Spall et.al and the dinosaur people don't do a bad job. Watchable.
Seven (Se7en) (1995): An interesting screenplay with the excellent Morgan Freeman playing Morgan Freeman the glue.
Idol, The (Ya tayr el tayer) (2015): The childhood scenes are very good and the best. The singing contest segments are familiar territory but the singing saves the day.
Honest Thief (2020): A time filler but Liam makes it watchable.
Kursk (2019): It is okay but the suspense is too drawn out to be fully effective.
Taking the Waewae Express (2008): It was hard to get involved in the screenplay.
Butterfly Crush (2010): It has plenty of energy but not a great deal else.
My Way (2011): The emphasis is on the dramatic, melodramatic, and anything else that rhymes.
Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019): Although little happens it is beautifully made. A very undemanding but worthwhile two hours.
