Hunters, The (1958): It is difficult to associate Mitchum with a romantic role. A routine screenplay with okay flying sequences.
Kansas City Confidential (1952): The screenplay was competent enough but needed a bit of urgency at times but there was an attraction in the bad guys Neville Brand, Jack Elam, and one of the greats Lee Van Cleef.
Arthur and the Invisibles (Arthur et les Minimoys) (2006): The animation side and the design work of the production are very good.
Bagdad Cafe (1988): Sägebrecht & Pounder work extremely well together in a screenplay that doesn't lack original ideas. The photography makes great use of colours & the only real negatives are an anti–climatic ending & Palance's character, which is a bit of a spare part.
And Then There Were None (1945): A good cast of character actors but some roles don't last that long.
Discreet Charm of the Bourgeiosie (1972): You can't see this dating as the Bourgeoisie will always be with us.
Extraordinary Measures (2010): Fraser, The Mummy, outperforms Ford.
Monsoon (2019): There is hardly a flutter – nothing much happens.; DVD $29.95
Cercle Rouge, Le (The Red Circle) (1970): Competently made with the pacing never quicker than steady – the jewelry break–in felt as if it was shot in real time no doubt to maintain the tension.
Mile 22 (2018): Even among action films, it is forgettable.
