Awesome; I...Shot That! (Awesome; I F****** Shot That!) (2006)
As a concert film it worked – the experiment of using audience members to film the concert was successful.
Balls of Fury (2007)
Not great but the ping pong storyline wouldn't have been tried too many times before. The ping pong special effects are very well done and for some reason, Christopher Walken is in the cast.
Gladiatress (2004)
The fart jokes normally would condemn it to a single * but overall it is better than that. At least they didn't have humping dogs unless I missed them from having passed out from a lack of quality air.
Life Before This, The (1999)
Whilst the screenplay might not have succeeded in every thing it tried it at least did not follow a well trodden path. It is worth a try as the talented cast are worthy of more than a passing interest.
Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief (2010)
I couldn't relate to the slightly annoying Percy but the special effects carried things through.
Angel Has Fallen (2019)
The two–hour running time is about par for the course as is the number of shoot outs as are the number of car chases and explosions. It is a screen and time filler.
Altered States (1980)
Even in those scenes where the screenplay doesn't work quite so well, it is not without interest. It is hard to see the screenplay not having something to offer for quite some time yet.
Bridges at Toko-Ri, The (1954)
The flying sequences, especially those landing on a carrier, were excellent. The screenplay missed a great anti–hero ending and a went on a little too long to one that was pure Hollywood and laughable.
Evolution (2001)
The creatures are both entertaining and scary – they may have been wondering where Bill Murray was.
Undefeated, The (1969)
A stirring picture of the boys will be boys variety.
