Le Souffle Au Coeur (Murmur of the Heart) (1971): The lead character of the boy was not interesting enough to hold the attention for two hours – but the jazz score helped.
Welcome to Marwen (2018): It might not be a lot of things but one thing it is – is original.
Beyond Borders (2003): Its well–meant message about aid work is diluted with it having to share the stage with the romantic goings on.
Help I'm a Fish (2000): Compared to other animated family films if you can describe something underwater as middle of the road then this is it. However, it is still worthwhile and entertaining.
Sentinel, The (2006): Although this sub–genre is over full the two leads make it watchable. However, there is little to raise your alert level.; Blu-Ray $29.95
Book of Love (2004): Predictable. Frances O'Connor's talent deserves much better material.
Tromeo and Juliet (1996): It has some good Troma segments but overall it is disjointed. A tighter screenplay and shorter running time might have helped.; DVD $14.95
Blood On Satan's Claw (Satan's Skin) (1977): One thing I believe it does do well is to make you believe you are witnessing a drama set in the 17th century – the atmospherics feel right.
Good Boys (2019): Listening to 3 five year olds whining and screaming for an hour and a half is beyond the call of duty.
Love the Hard Way (2001): Early in the film Brody's character uses his cell phone whilst watching a film in a cinema and that sets the level of his behaviour for the rest of the screenplay.
