Red Joan (2018)
A documentary would have been more exciting – however, it is an interesting story and the production values are very good.
Quiet Man, The (1952)
Maureen O’Hara is at her best when fiery and its a pity the romantic aspect took this away from her character. However, the location shooting is a winner and complemented by some good supporting characters and songs.
Children of Men (2006)
The screenplay is very impressive and convincing and together with the set designs create a believable and frightening scenario.
Besieged (1998)
It is a little disappointing but the two leads, supplemented by some traditional music, just about make it worthwhile.
Wayne's World (1992)
The two lead characters have a freshness about them, are not annoying and are very experienced at working off and with each other.
Kidulthood (2006)
It may have its faults but its intentions are admirable.
Bravados, The (1958)
It is well made and as a similar plot scenario to the much superior "Seven Men From Now" (1956).rnrnIt is always good to see Henry Silva.
Crawl (2019)
The basic plot idea of alligators entering flooded houses in Florida is believable and that if nothing else enhances the horror element.
Boomerang (1992)
There is very little in the screenplay to justify filming it in the first place– it soon wears thin after a few minutes and the same scenarios just keep coming back at you.
Day the Earth Stood Still, The (2008)
I know that Keanu was standing still.
