I thought the documentary was noticeably unbiased with both major parties' mixed performances during a period of noticeable upheaval being put under the critical spotlight. A valuable archival source for students.
The legacy of this documentary is that it puts on permanent record, for future generations to witness, those who tried to do the responsible thing and just as importantly to identify those who succeeded in their deliberate campaign to do the opposite.
The screenplay has a slow build up that culminates in an equally slow but impressive (anti)climax. A very good performance from Caleb Landry Jones to compliment the always great Judy Davis.
