Great Buck Howard, The (2008): It doesn't quite work as well as it might – particularly with John Malkovich at the helm.
Rendition (2007): It is okay but it is all very familiar – just read the newspapers –there is no need to dramatise.
Enchanted (2007): Adams, Sarandon and Spall is a pretty useful cast. The squirrel (or whatever it is) heads some very good special effects.
Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie (2016): Very silly but enjoyable and I would think the cast enjoyed making it as well.
Irresistible (2006): The screenplay is mostly familiar but Susan Sarandon is compulsory viewing for me.; DVD $24.95
Woman in Black 2, The: Angel of Death (2014): There were some scenes shot in daylight and these looked okay. For the rest what a great way to keep down production costs.
Jason Bourne (2016): Excellent action sequences – it gives you the impression that the team have done it hundreds of time before.
Man in the Iron Mask, The (1998): A flat rendition of the classic story – it also has a lot of trouble finding a way to finish and it drags on. The costumes are fine.
Kill Your Friends (2015): Oh what a great idea! – and then suicide perhaps?
Hyena (2014): Gritty and unattractive. The lead casting is good with the talented Stephen Graham and Neil Maskell in support.
