Hellraiser (1987): A pretty good body horror screenplay with a few rats and other undesirables thrown in. Excellent work by the makeup people.
Immoral Tales (1974): The episodes vary in interest but are never boring whilst 'Erzsebet Bathory' and 'Lucrezia Borgia' have commendable production values.
Mad Hot Ballroom (2005): They reminded me of my peak.
Gun Shy (1999): Not all of it works but it is different and worth a look.
Fright Night (1985): I thought it got the basics right and it wasn't too ambitious in anything and the mix of performers, characters, and writing worked. Special mention should be made of the skills exhibited by the Make–Up Department.
Merantau (2009): Some good stunt work but the one man army concept soon wears thin and just gets silly.
Wizard of Oz, The (1939): Ever set out on a walk whistling "We're off to see the Wizard "?; DVD ~~$19.95~~ $14.95 | Blu-Ray ~~$19.95~~ $14.95
Fast Food Nation (2006): The format of the screenplay all but ensures unevenness but it is a film that should be commended for its intentions and one that most of us should see at least once.
Beast, The (La Bete) (1975): The screenplay lacks a bit of substance but if in the right mood it could entertain. The photography is excellent.
Lilting (2014): The cultural barriers, especially the need to use a translator, also make it a frustrating watch but they do help to get the point of the screenplay across.
