Inside Out: The People's Art Project (2013)
An interesting project but the documentary wasn't as effective or attention grabbing as it should have been.
1408 (2007)
Cusack makes it watchable but its all been done before give or take a scream or two.
Classic Albums - Fleetwood Mac (Rumours) (1997)
It is a genuine classic album. Informative commentary from the band members. This documentary highlighted for me how much Christine McVie was underrated and overshadowed.
Trading Places (1983)
Although the plot scenario is old hat it is still an enjoyable watch with Dan Aykroyd excelling.
Austin Powers in Goldmember (2002)
Last Wagon, The (1956)
Has a slow pace but looks good photographically. The screenplay is modest but watchable.
Performance (1970)
A film of two halves – the first half is best and belongs to Fox. The second half in Jagger's pad is more memorable however. Overall a bit messy but innovative & it is one of those films that can be seen again from time to time.
Mary Shelley's Frankenstein (1994)
The set designs are well done and the make up team deserve a pat on the back. The pace of the story is hindered by too much gawking into other people's eyes and too much pontificating.
Horror Hotel (The City of the Dead) (1960)
Some good atmospherics and it also has Patricia Jessel's laugh.
In the Cut (2003)
This looks like it has suffered in the editing room – the story telling is uneven and Jennifer and Kevin's characters keep getting lost.
