Smoke (1995): It's an actors film and its well performed – a talkie.
Scary Movie 4 (2006)
Final Destination, The (Final Destination 4) (2009): Follows formula which is fine to a certain extent but it does limit the effect. The accident scenes are very well done.
Top Secret! (1984): Delightfully silly. Casting some excellent British character actors also helps to make it enjoyable.
Eat Pray Love (2010): The characters are boring and it goes on forever but as a travelogue (with soundtrack) you do get some relief.
Home (2014): I liked the plot idea – the animation and the characters were fine especially the scene stealing cat.
Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
From The Sky Down (2011): The documentary does much more than discuss "Achtung Baby". It also runs over the band's origins, their relationship with each other (tight knit) and previous albums in particular "Joshua Tree".
Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse (2015): Another horror zombie comedy – the same zombie actors just move from film set to film set.
Westworld (1973): It may owe something to Asimov but the screenplay is very strong. If we got the chance how many of us would behave any differently to the vacationers? I think Crichton may have struggled to find an ending as this one wasn't as strong as what went before.
