Kicking and Screaming (2005)
Too much yelling and screaming from Ferrell but the kid's soccer scenes are watchable.
To the Wonder (2012)
Although the acting needs aren't great the casting of Affleck is bizarre – not quite as bizarre as Cruise in "Eyes Wide Shut"but he still provides a distraction from the beautiful photography & is a negative count against the artistry of the film.
McMasters, The (Blood Crowd, The) (1970)
Racist from start to finish with a great bigoted performance from Palance supported by Jones and Armstrong. The other performances, the screenplay and the panoramic location shooting are well worth it. A proper western.
Mars Needs Moms (2011)
Why would you go to all the expense and trouble of animating a story and then ruin it with a kid with an irritating voice.
Geronimo (1962)
Hollywood really got into this one through the casting & the sermonising but as long as its seen as light entertainment only no harm is done.
Godsend (2004)
The horror idea is fine but the screenplay is humdrum and familiar being similar to those involving possessed children.
Mummy, The (1999)
Fraser is not too bad in this but the only real highlight is the work done by the make up department on the mummies.
Last Witch Hunter, The (2015)
Its full of noise, action and special effects – watchable in parts.
Life as We Know It (2010)
As with "27 Dresses" Heigl does her best with thin material and makes it watchable.
Cruising (1980)
The gay scenes seem to be overstated but I enjoyed the gritty location shooting and the choice of colours for the filming.
