Friday Night Lights (2004)
Yes I know its got Billy Bob in it and he's always excellent but this is another movie about American Football which in itself is boring and the characters are nothing to get excited about.
Airheads (1993)
Uneven and silly but there are some very good segments. Buscemi is an airhead & Michael McKean is also very good amongst a more than useful supporting cast.
Miss Julie (2014)
I couldn't make out much of what Farrell said which didn't help matters (as it is a stageplay) but I thought he struggled at times. Much prefer the 1999 version. Samantha Morton was good in hovering around.
Hitch (2005)
They have done wonderfully well to stretch this frivolous scenario to feature length.
Medium Cool (1969)
Interesting combination of staged & real action. The opening & closing scenes complement each other well & are a good example of the subtle humour prevalent in the film. The film should not be ignored by anyone interested in the turmoil of 1968 in the USA.
Junior (1994)
A desperate plot – not sure what Emma is doing in this but she does her talented best.
Dennis the Menace (1993)
Not a bad line up:Christopher Lloyd, Walter Matthau, Joan Plowright, & Lea Thompson – there are some quality distractions in this casting if you need them.
Bad Turn Worse (2013)
The characters aren't convincing and the plot lacks freshness. The soundtrack however is terrific.
Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies (2012)
The non zombies (I think) had pasty faces so it was hard to tell who was who at times. As per usual the zombies only have a short life span.
Postman Pat: The Movie (2014)
The animation and main character are likeable – the story has a message as well.
