Boychoir (2014)
Kathy Bates is fine but most other things are flat and predictable.
Jetsons - The Movie (1990)
Great characters – they should stand the test of time for a while yet.
Con Air (1997)
Malkovich looks threatening but Cage's drawl gets irritating after a few seconds (I hope for his family's sake he doesn't take it home). After an okay/expensive climax it gets soppy.
Charlie Bubbles (1967)
Episodic – Colin Blakely and Liza M are fine the latter being a nice surprise but the best moments are with the excellent Billie Whitelaw. Some "nostalgic" urban northern locations (the slums on their last legs) and a surreal finish.
Hellion (2014)
The first half is not too bad but the plot which doesn't really amount to much gets a bit predictable.
Most Violent Year, A (2014)
On a first viewing it didn't do a lot for me although there were some good patches – will watch again.
Killer Bats (The Devil Bat) (1940)
A great combination of Lugosi and bats.
Eat Drink Man Woman (1994)
One of the more clumsier titles. The story is light entertainment but is well put together and acted. Its main drawback is that there is not enough in it for 2 hours – it probably has a character too many.
Entourage: The Movie (2015)
The characters were not very interesting and neither the script or plot were very strong but other than that it was okay I guess.
Assassins (1995)
Neverending but there is some interest in the younger versions of Antonio and Julianne.
