Night Stalker, The / Night Strangler, The (1972-1973): Night Stalker: It might only be a telemovie but its above average – terrific cast.
Linsanity (2013): Its not really that interesting.
Cherrybomb (2009): Doesn't cover any new ground but it is watchable – none of the performances are irritating.
Daddy and Them (1999): Put Thornton and Dern together and you must have sparks.Wonderfully off beat with interesting characters and soundtrack.
Dames (1934): One classy tune but more than one classy production number. All the girls are good plus Hugh Herbert is the icing on the cake.
Taking of Deborah Logan, The (2014): It nearly broke the mould but too often reverted to type. Another project limited by the hand held camera.
Iceman (1984): A bit of a mixture but for one thing its not routine – refreshing in that sense. Location shooting in British Columbia helps.
Space Chimps (2008): Enjoyable characters zipping through space.
Horns (2013): Radcliffe was good in "Woman in Black" and "Boy Jack" but this is the second outing he has been poor. He might be trying too hard but he reminds of an out of control Sean Penn or an Elijah Wood. He ruins the film which otherwise is worth a watch.
John Tucker Must Die (2006): Hardly anything original but harmless viewing.
