Free Willy 2 (1995): It has a good green message and the location is a ready winner – some of the boy kids are a bit irritating though.
Corrina Corrina (1994): Good natured – crucially the kids led by Tina Majorino are very good – however the story weakens toward the end because of an unnecessary love interest between Liotta and Goldberg.
Howard the Duck (1986): You really can't dislike it – original – and Jeffrey Jones is terrific.
Stranger on the Run (1967): Everything is solid and fine but you don't feel as if you've seen anything that you haven't seen before.
Female Trouble (1974): For its "type" it is very good but I found the voices penetrating at times.
Other, The (1972): Great story – the film is atmospheric and is beautifully photographed.
Die Hard (1988): 25 years on and the film looks pretty ordinary. The acting all round is pretty mediocre with the exception of Alan Rickman.
Best of Me, The (2014): Nothing happens which on reflection is probably a good thing.
Raising Cain (1992): It doesn't work but you have to give credit for originality and Lithgow's performance.
Peter Pan (1953): Entertaining and the story should be easily understood by the young ones.
