Giver, The (2014)
Seems to spend most of the film explaining the plot which I don't think it did very well – but the "Making Of" helps.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004)
The editing makes it episodic – the scenes do not follow each other seamlessly. A whose who of British acting talent in support lead by the fabulous Alan Rickman. Impressive set designs.
Ride a Crooked Trail (1958)
An interesting performance from a younger than normal Walter Matthau.
Michael Kohlhaas (1969)
Routine plot and drama but handled differently.
Love and Anarchy (1973)
The characters are influenced by Fellini(?)
Little Foxes, The (1941)
Excellent cast feeding off an excellent screenplay.
Empty Canvas, The (La Noia) (1963)
Horst as the spoilt brat is at his best when he stands still and says nothing.Great first scene of Bette handling a cigarette holder and dominating every scene she's in.
Happening, The (2008)
Shows promise at times but doesn't follow through.
Canyons, The (2013)
Totally boring characters.
Legally Blonde 2 (Red, White and Blonde) (2002)
Reese's character is hard to dislike.
