Giver, The (2014): Seems to spend most of the film explaining the plot which I don't think it did very well – but the "Making Of" helps.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004): The editing makes it episodic – the scenes do not follow each other seamlessly. A whose who of British acting talent in support lead by the fabulous Alan Rickman. Impressive set designs.
Ride a Crooked Trail (1958): An interesting performance from a younger than normal Walter Matthau.
Michael Kohlhaas (1969): Routine plot and drama but handled differently.
Love and Anarchy (1973): The characters are influenced by Fellini(?)
Little Foxes, The (1941): Excellent cast feeding off an excellent screenplay.
Empty Canvas, The (La Noia) (1963): Horst as the spoilt brat is at his best when he stands still and says nothing.Great first scene of Bette handling a cigarette holder and dominating every scene she's in.
Happening, The (2008): Shows promise at times but doesn't follow through.
Canyons, The (2013): Totally boring characters.
Legally Blonde 2 (Red, White and Blonde) (2002): Reese's character is hard to dislike.
