Yellow Rolls-Royce, The (1964)
Starts of well with Rex Harrison and some good British supporting actors but loses its way after that. Joyce Grenfell pops up later though so stay with it.
Joe (2013)
Its commendable to speak the local drawl but subtitles please. Gary Poulter the stand out as the main alcoholic.
Sounder (1972)
Its worth it for the soundtrack. A good attempt to portray the life of sharecroppers at the time.
Fall, The - Series 2 (TV Series) (2014)
Doesn't maintain the standards of the initial series.
Astounding She-Monster, The (1958)
A good contribution to the genre.
American Teen (2008)
Okay.
William Vincent (Shadows and Lies) (2010)
It demands to be seen a second time – I couldn't follow all the nuances on a first watch. The leads are terrific and supported by an interesting and appropriately used soundtrack. Well done indie.
Upside of Anger, The (2004)
Good story well told – Mike Bender does well in a support role but then there is Joan Allen (say no more).
Grudge Match (2013)
De Niro seems to be concentrating on the lighter stuff at this stage of his career. Alan Arkin the only real highlight.
Fun With Dick and Jane (2005)
Carrey is better in this one because he's not trying to be funny – he should give comedy away.
