Welcome Home, Soldier Boys (1972): For the most part, it has a good feel to it but the climax scenes are just silly.
Basic Instinct 2 (2006): Whatever its shortcomings it is not the fault of the casting director.
Donnie Brasco (1997): It was okay when seen on release but the characters haven't aged too well and are now (in 2022) two a penny. Although it is well produced some of the violence is over the top.
A Star Is Born (1954): Judy's musical performance is backed up by a good support cast, particularly in Mason and Carson.
Jesus Christ Superstar (2012): There are a couple of tuneful tunes and plenty of energy overall.
Oxford Murders, The (2008): It may have an intelligent screenplay but the casting of Wood was bizarre & a distraction. When he appeared I went into Enid Blyton mode. Tragically Anna Massey is limited to a cameo but there is John Hurt & the dependable Jim Carter to get you through.
Clique, The (2008): The sparring in the early scenes isn't too bad but the rest is pretty predictable.
Hide and Seek (2004): Dakota is fine but the content is familiar.
Old Dog (2018): Hopefully, it will be seen overseas – a very good advert for the country.
Night At The Museum 2 (Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian) (2009): Although Amy Adams and Hank Azaria beef up the casting there is not enough material for a sequel.
