Gemma Bovery (2014): Nice to look at but the characters need to find something useful to do in life.
Caine Mutiny, The (1954): Solid.; DVD ~~$19.95~~ $14.95
Saturday Night Fever (1977): Whilst the film might bring back bad memories for those of us who survived the disco error the dancing segments are well done and there are some great location shots of 70s Brooklyn.
Human Capital (2019): The screenplay was clunky and consequently, there was a cost in that it was a bit hard to follow at times but the casting helped to maintain the interest.
Irresistible (2020): The story has been done before.
[REC] (REC) (2007): It is more noisy than scary.
Oliver Sacks: His Own Life (2019): The documentary wasn't attention grabbing but at least it did highlight the major aspects of his diverse life.; DVD $29.95
Hounds of Love (2016): There was not enough in the material to justify a running time of 100+ minutes and it was certainly too long to maintain its suspense.
Ab-Normal Beauty (Sei mong se jun) (2004): It was okay but there was nothing memorable about it as was the case with "Ringu" (1998).
Jaws (1975): Watched this again 45 years on and the screenplay has lost some of its suspense but it is still very watchable.; DVD ~~$20~~ $15
