Kung Fu Hustle (2004): A good mix of comedy and martial arts – it should entertain most audiences.
Moon (2009): It is a good intelligent story that is well performed and it does well to entertain with a minimum number of characters.
City Under the Sea (1965): Aka "War–Gods of the Deep". I guess you could find Vincent Price most places.
October : 10 Days That Shook the World (1928): There are still segments, particularly the crowd scenes, that can still be admired decades later.
Ammonite (2020): Another terrific performance from Kate Winslet – she doesn't need words. An actress who doesn't mind rolling her sleeves up and taking on unglamorous parts. A very good female supporting cast helps plus there is great period work by the filmmakers.
David Crosby: Remember My Name (2019): Its honesty is creditable and so is the lack of fawning which is often associated with documentaries of the musically famous.; DVD $24.95
Legend of the Suram Fortress (1984): Probably an overused and an even inadequate description – poetic. Some of the scenes are stunning.
Carlito's Way (1993): Pacino is not too bad in this one but the screenplay, even if it lost half an hour, has been done better elsewhere.
Limitless (2011): The screenplay has its moments but overall it is unconvincing – perhaps a stronger lead casting would have helped.
Dance of Reality, The (2013): The screenplay was overlong but it was peppered with creativity and great moments.
