You, Me and Dupree
Aroview: Chucklesome by-numbers farce has newlyweds Matt Dillon and Kate Hudson settle down to suburban American bliss, only to have houseguest Owen Wilson - in ingratiating, beatific slacker mode - impose himself on the household.
Blocking up the toilets, inviting strippers around and almost burning down the house, Wilson uses his smirking charm to excellent effect, while another storyline sees Dillon knock heads with his boss/father-in-law Michael Douglas, further fueling irritation to explosive levels. Even if not the measure of WEDDING CRASHERS (let alone DODGEBALL), this would not be an unwelcome Friday night couch-trip.

3 stars (Good Enough) Will provide a few decent laughs, with Wilson seemingly unknowingly intruding on the lives of his married friends. ~Tom H
2 stars (Good Try) Matt Dillon has been in better films, Michael Douglas is in the wrong film and shows it but Kate Hudson is her usual watchable self. ~Tubbs
