My Super Ex-Girlfriend

Aroview: Superheroic romcom sees neurotic superhero 'G-Girl' (Uma Thurman) and a non-powered, somewhat nebbish architect (Luke Wilson) fall in love, but find it a rather imperfect match.

Wilson is soon abducted by a super-criminal (Izzard) anxious to investigate his nemisis' private life, but the picture takes its most profitable detour when Thurman catches her new beau in a co-worker's (Faris) embrace and decides to exact revenge to the full extent of her capabilities. Scripted by Don Payne (THE SIMPSONS), this can't quite get its disparate genre elements to gel with the wacky inspiration it needs, but the nervous chemistry between Thurman and Wilson is highly watchable and the support cast is exemplary.
