Incredible Hulk, The
Aroview: The Green Machine gets another going-over in this serviceable update of the Marvel comic, tracking itinerant scientist Edward Norton as he struggles to contain the rage within, evade the authorities, and rekindle his romance with brainiac babe Liv Tyler.
Humanised by Norton's tremulous take on the incensed avenger - at least until the final 20 minutes of demo-game CGI overload, this ought to find favour with fans put off by Ang Lee's arty-farty update, sticking closer to the TV series and packing in enough energy and close calls to satisfy the average action viewer. Just don't go expecting anything subtler than the signature smash of the hulking hero.
