Aroview: A bunch of ragtag misfits set out to win a High School 'Battle of the Bands' in this unusually clever teen comedy.

With a soundtrack that includes Wilco and The Velvet Underground, quotable dialogue, genuinely fallible characters and a cameo from David Bowie, this is more John Hughes than Disney. Plus, it all climaxes with a concert. Who could resist?
