For All Mankind
Aroview: A rousing, near avant-garde meditation on the story of the first lunar landing and the 24 men who traveled to the moon and back.
Edited entirely from footage and audio from the space missions (on earth and in space), this hypnotic film eschews the science and thinking behind the space program to evoke the rare sensations and emotions behind mankind's momentous "giant leap". Music by Brian Eno.

5 stars (Exceptional) Using recollections and images from all missions, Al Reinert creates an arc from launch to landing to re-entry, and captures the emotions of the astronauts, and not the science. Just a tad epic. The sound track by Brian Eno and collaborators is also epic. ~ben
