Apollo 11
“This meticulously conceived documentary is both a definitive account of the voyage as well as a creative, cinematic you-are-there unfolding of the events that transpired.”~Anthony Kaufman, Screen International
Aroview: A handsomely mounted, meticulously conceived documentary presenting the events of the Apollo 11 mission to land on the moon, led by commander Neil Armstrong and pilots Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins. Striking for it's avoidance of traditional methods of documentary film-making, such as voice over narration and interviews, in favour of using original archived film, making this a striking feat of historical preservation.
