While We're Young
“An almost perfect 90-minute hit of confident and inspired comedic commentary.”~Catherine Shoard, The Guardian
Aroview: Ben Stiller plays a documentarian whose career and marriage are overturned when a much younger couple enters their social circle in this film-centric culture comedy from finger-on-the-pulse New Yorker, Noah Baumbach.
Yes, it's Woody Allen-lite, and padded by a few contrivances, but it's pleasingly accessible, and is mounted on a strong satirical premise concerning documentary film-making integrity in the era of social media.
