“Often moving but also disquieting and even intermittently funny, this drama unfurls a spiritual parable that is uniquely Polish but accessible to all.”~Leslie Felperin, The Guardian

Aroview: Highly distinctive and gripping drama, based on a true events, about a charismatic ex-convict who pretended to be a priest and fooled an entire Polish village.

After experiencing a spiritual awakening while in juvenile detention, the young man (Bartosz Bielenia) is mistaken for a priest while on a work placement at a sawmill, and spontaneously takes the opportunity to transform his life, and in turn, the lives of a small unsuspecting community in need of moral guidance. An intriguing film exploring themes of authenticity, faith and redemption.
